Anuj Gandhi is not the kind of leader who simply runs a business. He’s someone who guides it with purpose, clarity, and a genuine passion for creating long-term impact. As a key driving force at NMSPL, Anuj brings far more than managerial expertise. He brings a mind-set anchored in sustainable growth, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of people.
What truly defines Anuj’s leadership is his intentional approach. He believes success is built on more than numbers. It stems from trust, unity, and shared purpose. Under his direction, NMSPL has grown into an organization known for strong governance, disciplined operations, and a culture that values both performance and personal well-being.
Anuj has an uncommon ability to balance big-picture vision with day-to-day decision-making. Whether navigating market shifts or building future-focused strategies, he remains steady, thoughtful, and adaptable. This blend of foresight and flexibility has kept NMSPL strong, even when the business landscape has been anything but predictable.
Yet, what truly sets Anuj apart is his people-first philosophy. He leads by empowering others encouraging ideas, giving his team ownership, and building an environment where creativity, accountability, and collaboration thrive naturally. To him, the growth of the company is inseparable from the growth of the people behind it.

His professional foundation was laid at BHEL, one of India’s most respected PSUs. Fresh out of IIT Roorkee, he entered an ecosystem that profoundly influenced his work ethic and leadership values. Mentored by experienced veterans, he was encouraged early on to explore, learn, and lead with confidence. This trust paved the way for one of the defining moments of his young career being entrusted with a major PPP Project for Indian Railways, a responsibility typically reserved for professionals much older and more experienced.
It was here that three defining leadership principles took shape:
Clarity – ensuring every action aligns with long-term vision.
Adaptability – evolving with technology, markets, and organizational needs.
Empowerment – creating teams that innovate without fear and take full ownership.
“Leadership is not about control,” he reflects. “It’s about enabling others to thrive.”
Guided by mentors like Shri A.K. Jain, Shri Rajeev Kr Gupta, and Shri A. Chidambaram, he developed a well-rounded leadership approach that would carry him through every chapter of his career.
His journey accelerated at SKF, where he contributed to some of India’s most iconic mobility projects Vande Bharat, Delhi Metro, and Bangalore Metro. These weren’t just engineering projects; they represented India’s evolving identity and technological progress. His contributions quietly shaped solutions that impact millions today.
What truly set him apart during this phase was his commitment to servant leadership being grounded, approachable, and focused on team success. Calm under pressure, protective of his people, and highly accountable, he found the balance between strong vision and flexible execution.
These qualities became even more essential when he ventured into entrepreneurship.

From day one, he envisioned a manufacturing-focused startups built on uncompromising quality and innovation. As a bootstrapped founder navigating funding challenges, compliance demands, and talent retention, he relied heavily on his principles of clarity, adaptability, and empowerment.

The product performed exceptionally well, even in the harshest terrains. For him, it was not just a professional achievement, but a validation of his vision and values.

By driving open dialogues, breaking silos, and empowering decision-making, he ensures that technical expertise and strategic vision work together not separately.
Beyond the boardroom, Anuj is grounded by a disciplined personal routine. A passionate marathoner, he starts his day at 4:30 AM, dedicating the first two and a half hours entirely to fitness. Running is his meditation, a source of clarity, calmness, and creativity. Many of his business solutions are born during these early morning runs.
His daily lifestyle reflects intentional balance:
• Early dinners
• No work on Sundays
• Two dedicated hours with his children every evening
• Weekends reserved for family
• Fitness as a non-negotiable priority
His life philosophy is captured in his mantra:
“When the sun comes up, you better be running.”
Influenced deeply by Robin Sharma’s writings, he practices discipline, purpose, and self-mastery both personally and professionally.
When advising future leaders entering complex sectors like Defence and Railways, his message is simple:
