Hi, I’m Ankita Chaudhary, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Power Gummies. My journey into leadership wasn’t planned it was shaped by curiosity, hard work, and a deep passion to make a difference.
From the start of my career, I was lucky to work in fast-paced environments where I was trusted with real responsibility, no matter my age. These early experiences taught me that being a leader isn’t about controlling everything it’s about helping people and ideas move forward. It’s about being calm under pressure, making smart decisions, and staying focused on the bigger picture.
At Power Gummies, I lead the day-to-day operations, including e-commerce, performance marketing, brand building, and supply chain. My goal is simple: make wellness easy, enjoyable, and accessible for everyone. Every decision we take as a company is guided by empathy, data, and the belief that health doesn’t have to be boring.
When we launched Power Gummies, the health supplement space in India was just beginning to grow. People were used to pills and powders, and the idea of getting vitamins through gummies was still new.
Building trust was not easy. We had to educate our customers, ensure our products were high quality, and follow all the necessary regulations. But we believed in our idea and more importantly, in the value it could bring to people’s lives.
There was scepticism. Some doubted whether “gummies” would work in India. But we stayed focused. We listened to our consumers, trusted the data, and stayed true to our mission. Looking back, that early phase taught us the importance of staying grounded, being honest, and making long-term choices.
Leadership in 2025 looks very different from what it used to be. The old style of giving orders from the top no longer works. Today, it’s about being open, listening to your team, and adapting quickly to changes.
Over time, I’ve moved from just focusing on tasks to focusing on people. I’ve learned that great results come from teams that feel safe, respected, and encouraged to take initiative. My role now is to create that kind of space to provide clear direction, but also let people try, fail, and grow.
I also believe that leaders don’t have to have all the answers. In fact, it’s more powerful to admit what you don’t know and involve your team in finding solutions. Clarity about goals, values, and priorities is more important than having a perfect plan.
What really sets Power Gummies apart isn’t just our products it’s the purpose and people behind them. Our operations combine creativity and precision. I work to balance strong business results with a brand story that truly connects with our customers.
Our focus is always on the consumer journey from the first website visit to receiving the product and everything that comes after. Behind the scenes, we’ve built a strong supply chain and a data-driven marketing strategy that allows us to grow without losing our core values.
In fast-growing startups, challenges are constant. Priorities can change overnight. What helps me stay grounded is staying calm in chaos and bringing different teams together to solve problems. I believe that in moments of uncertainty, what matters most is clear thinking, quick action, and teamwork.
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been mentoring young leaders both inside Power Gummies and in the wider startup world. I try to create spaces where people can share ideas, take responsibility, and even make mistakes. That’s how real learning happens.
Mentorship, to me, goes both ways. I learn just as much from younger team members as they learn from me. Their fresh perspectives keep me open-minded and continuously growing as a leader.
At Power Gummies, we are committed to building diverse teams from gender to background to skillsets. Inclusion isn’t just about hiring different people. It’s about making sure everyone feels heard and valued. I personally push for clear policies, equal opportunities, and team-building that brings everyone together.
If I could speak to my younger self, I’d say this: You don’t need to figure it all out right away. Growth is not a straight line. There will be days when things feel uncertain. That’s okay. What matters is showing up every day, doing your best, and trusting the process.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that small, consistent efforts matter more than occasional big moves. Being present, thoughtful, and persistent adds up over time and leads to real impact.
As a leader, I make every decision by looking at both the numbers and the people involved. Real, long-term growth comes from balancing strong business results with human values. That’s the kind of company and the kind of leader I want to build.
Power Gummies is more than a product. It’s a belief that wellness can be fun, leadership can be kind, and success can be shared. As we continue to grow, I’m excited for what’s ahead not just for the business, but for the amazing team that’s building it with me.
